Holiday Cards Should Not Become Spam

24 11 2011

Hello.

The holidays are busy.  Concerts.  Parties.  Baking.  Shopping.  Wrapping.  Everyday living.

When do you have time to buy, write, post, and mail holiday cards?

Well, you could take the easy way out and send an e-card; however, as reported in The Globe and Mail (Monday 13 December 2010), Christmas e-mail?  Bah! humbug, says Canadians, we want cards, 8 out of 10 Canadians ‘expressed a strong preference to receiving a holiday card in the mail’ (up from 7 out of 10 in a 2008 survey).

Or, you could use SendOutCards.

Since I found SendOutCards, sending greeting cards for holidays, birthdays, anniversaries, or any other occasion, has become stress-free.  The online greeting card system allows me to create cards, personalise them with notes written in my own hand-writing font, upload pictures, and include gifts.  SendOutCards then prints the card, inserts the card into an envelope, addresses the envelope, adds a stamp, and mails it … all within 24 hours and for a fraction of the cost of purchasing cards from the store.

I use the Contact Manager to organise addresses and important dates, such as birthdays and anniversaries; SendOutCards automatically reminds me of upcoming important dates so I never miss my anniversary or a birthday.  It does not matter where in the world I may be at the time.  As long as I have access to the Internet, I can send a card.

I use the Campaign feature to create holiday cards.  Once I create the template, I can send from one to any number of cards with a few clicks of the mouse.  This feature is an incredible time saver for me.

Did you know that Send Out Cards also offers gifts and chocolates and other goodies? Stuff like sea salt caramels…. you should send your husband some. Just a suggestion…
